Two flights, before and after prescribed fire, of Units 2C and 3F in Land Bank’s Head of the Plains. Nantucket prescribed fire crew burned Unit 3F. The second flight included multispectral imaging allowing for the NDVI map, selectable in the layer option. For NDVI, the scale is red, yellow, green in increasing vegetation density. Three maps of Sesachacha Pond. The pond was opened to the ocean on 3/30/23 by Nantucket’s Natural Resources Department. A distinct drop in the water level is visible in the second map. The third map shows a slight rise in water levels and also provides the best view of seagrasses and algae present in the pond. Select the layer option in the upper right corner to view each map.
